Lynn DeJac Peters was not tried a second time in the death of her daughter, Crystallynn, after being released from prison, as was stated in a column in Friday’s News.

Philipp L. Rimmler, attorney for the family of Douglas C. Wielinski in their lawsuit against Colgan Air and others for Wielinski’s death in 2009 when Continental Connection Flight 3407 crashed into his Clarence Center home, said at a court hearing Thursday that the defendants have presented no justification for their pretrial motion to seal some of the documents in the case. “They don’t want the information from the discovery process to see the light of day,” he said. Due to an editing error, his comments were incorrectly attributed to State Supreme Court Justice Frederick J. Marshall.
