Baker Victory Services today opened a new residential-care facility for people with developmental disabilities diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and/or age-related dementia.
A ribbon-cutting was held for Memory House Residential Care Facility, 1890 Maple Road, Amherst. Officials on hand included
Monsignor Paul J.E. Burkard, Baker Victory president, and and Kevin Penberthy, deputy director of state Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
Baker Victory Services, the Lackawanna-based non-profit, offers services to more than 5,000 people across Western New York, including the developmentally disabled, early- and school-age education programs, adoption, foster care and community-based preventative services.
