What is stick fighting?

A form of martial arts in which opponents use various techniques and strategies to strike each other with a stick or avoid getting struck.

Where did it originate?

While its origin is of some debate, stick fighting has historically taken place in the Philippines, Ireland, certain parts of Africa, England, France, Latin America and now the United States and Canada.
