NIAGARA FALLS – A man arrested in Niagara Falls has been charged with assaulting a border patrol officer.

Felix Santos, 41, pushed a border patrol agent before being subdued and placed in handcuffs, according to a criminal complaint, which states the agent suffered a minor abrasion and bruised knee.

Santos faces a maximum penalty of eight years in prison and a $250,000 fine if he is convicted.
