Two arrested for “public annoyance”

A 20-year-old Wiley Place man and a 19-year-old School Street man were both arrested Monday evening for engaging in what police described as “violent and tumultuous behavior” and vulgarly trying to pick fights with people on Hertel Avenue near Norwalk Avenue.

Mitchell R. Meara, of Wiley Place, and Hisham Qasas were both charged with disorderly conduct about 8:40 p.m. for engaging in what police described as “a public annoyance.”
