A 46-year-old Goulding Avenue woman has been arrested on a felony charge of first-degree criminal impersonation, unlawful imprisonment and child endangerment for allegedly pretending she was a Buffalo police officer.

Police charge that on the afternoon of April 18, Kellye R. Burhanan handcuffed a man at Bailey near Roosevelt avenues, forced him into her SUV and then strip-searched him in front of her two daughters, ages 7 and 12, before letting him go.

The man admitted to police he had been attempting to panhandle the day Burhanan accosted him.
