Buffalo police are investigating the break-in and ransacking of the Rees Street Community Center.

The incident occurred between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday. The perpetrator, police said, broke off the handle to a door on the building’s east side. The office was ransacked, the door to the gym was damaged and basketball and office supplies were stolen, police added.
