NIAGARA FALLS – City residents will be able to get a new dog license or renew a license during a rabies vaccination clinic to be held by Niagara County on Saturday in Hyde Park.

Staff from the City Clerk’s Office will be on hand during the clinic, which runs from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Hyde Park Oasis/Centennial Pavilion on Robbins Drive. City law requires all dogs be licensed.

The rabies vaccinations will be free for pets of county residents. Proof of rabies vaccination and spaying or neutering must be presented in order to obtain the dog license. License fees are $17.50 for spayed or neutered dogs and $25.50 for a dog that is not spayed or neutered. City residents age 65 and older receive a $5 discount. Payment can be made by check or cash.
