LOCKPORT – Two women in separate cases have reported being approached by a suspicious man in a black mini van while in or near a parking lot on South Transit Road, according to the Niagara County Sheriff Department.

In one case a 38-year-old Lockport woman said at 3:30 p.m. Monday the man approached her while she was in a used car lot. She said the man asked her if she was married and then asked her to perform a sexual act for money. She refused and left the area.

Another woman reported a man with a similar description around the same time in a nearby parking lot. She said the man suggested she get in the van and she refused.

Both women said the man was holding an iPhone or iPad while he talked to them. He was described as a white man, in his 30s with black curly hair. One woman said the man had a large nose and the other noticed a partial beard.
