A Lancaster High School student will compete in the first JA Business Plan Challenge in Washington, D.C., this month.

Nathan Riexinger won Junior Achievement of Western New York’s Business Plan Challenge, which was held in May and sponsored by Bryant & Stratton College. He presented an idea for a bottle design called “Twist Out,” which would hold substances such as condiments with a twist-up function.

Riexinger is one of 10 teams – each consisting of either one or two members – who will compete in the national challenge at JA’s National Student Leadership Summit, which will be June 16 to 18.
