A 24-year-old Burgard Place man was arrested on felony weapons and other charges after he was chased off Brinkman Street early Sunday, police announced Wednesday.

Brandon Liggans was captured at Bailey Avenue and Hazel Place after a brief foot chase about 12:05 a.m. Liggans was taken into custody for allegedly having thrown a loaded .22-caliber revolver as he was running along Bailey after allegedly being confronted while “crouching” in the driveway of a Brinkman Street residence. Liggans is charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second-degree, obstructing governmental administration and criminal trespass.
