More than 4,000 people in khaki and camo are expected Friday night at BASH*2014, the annual military-themed fund-raiser for the American Red Cross serving Erie and Niagara Counties. The party will be under the tents at Red Cross headquarters, 786 Delaware Ave., with food and drinks plus music, dancing and auctions to support the cause.

Party goers are set to arrive starting at 8 p.m., with operations continuing through midnight. The official after-party continues at Soho Burger Bar, 64 W. Chippewa St.

All money raised at the event stays in Western New York to fund Red Cross response to disasters large and small, from house fires to major flooding and storms. Food will be provided by local restaurants and Lance Diamond is leading the musical charge.

Tickets are $75, available at Red Cross headquarters and online at, and include two drinks.

BASH*2013 raised over $352,000 to support Red Cross Emergency Services.
