LOCKPORT –A 19-year-old employee of the Lockport Pub was the only bar worker arrested for serving a minor during the latest underage alcohol enforcement sweep by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, State Police and the State Liquor Authority Thursday evening.

Marissa R. Ebbole was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child in the first-degree and prohibited sales, both misdemeanors, for allegedly serving one of the underage persons recruited for the sweep, which ran from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday. Ebbole faces Lockport City Court proceedings in the case.

Niagara County Sheriff James R. Voutour noted that the Lockport Pub was the only one of the 16 bars checked throughout the county Thursday evening that allegedly served alcohol to a minor.
