Buffalo police arrested two Town of Tonawanda residents Tuesday on drug-related charges, according to a police report.

Police charged Sean McGee, 47, of Moore Avenue, with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said he was carrying a plastic baggie containing heroin.

Betty Boehm, 35, who lives at the same address as McGee, was charged with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. Police said she was carrying two used hypodermic needles.

Police arrested the two at the intersection of Hudson and Niagara streets.

Police approached the two and searched them after watching McGee make a hand exchange with an unknown man.
