WHEATFIELD – The United Way of Greater Niagara is hosting a two-session training program June 5 and 12 on the responsibilities faced by those who join the boards of not-for-profit agencies.

Both sessions will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the United Way office, 6420 Inducon Drive, Wheatfield. A light dinner will be offered at both meetings.

The first one will emphasize legal and board responsibilities, with attorney WIlliam D. Berard III of Niagara Falls as the speaker. The June 12 meeting will focus on fiduciary and staff responsilities, with Falls accountant Steven Brown the presenter. Representatives of agencies that need volunteers will be on hand at both dates.
