Perry man jailed after domestic felony incident

WARSAW – A 44-year-old Perry man was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail without bail following his arrest on criminal mischief and other charges after Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a domestic violence incident at a home Sunday afternoon on State Route 39 in the Town of Pike.

Thomas E. Sawdey III of Buckland Avenue, Perry, was remanded after it was learned that he had three prior felony convictions on his record, including a felony charge of aggravated family offense and menacing in the last five years. He faces further proceedings in Pike Town Court next week on criminal mischief and child endangerment counts for allegedly getting violent and damaging a car in front of a 12-year-old boy during the incident Sunday.
