Speeding leads to felony DWI charge

RANDOLPH – Timothy C. Johnson, 52, of Gerry, was charged Saturday with felony driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on I-86, where State Police said Johnson was speeding.

Johnson’s blood alcohol level was .11, police said, but he faces a felony charge due to prior DWI convictions and speeding, according to police.

Johnson was arraigned in Town of Randolph Court and was committed to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
