JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Saturday after being stopped for having a missing headlight.

State Police stopped Charles L. Marshall Jr., 43, on Water Street. The trooper detected a strong odor of alcohol and arrested Marshall after field tests. Marshall later was found to have a blood alcohol content of .19 percent, more than twice the legal limit.

He was issued appearance tickets in connection with his blood alcohol level and missing headlight.

He was released to a third party and is due back in city court.
