The Niagara Frontier Lacrosse Officials Association elected Daniel Connors president. Connors is a partner in the law offices of Cohen & Lombardo. A member of the NFLOA for the past 18 years, Connors has officiated NCAA Division I games, the Empire State Games and New York state high school championship games.


UBMD Internal Medicine Infectious Diseases Division clinician Dr. John A. Sellick Jr. was honored by the American College of Physicians’ New York Chapter for outstanding commitment to excellence and service. Sellick is also a UB associate professor of medicine.


Christina Michalczak, a certified financial planner, of Waterford Advisors has passed both parts of the exam that qualifies her as a Qualified Plan Financial Consultant from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. Also, Michael Harmer of Waterford Advisors has passed the Certified Financial Planner exam. He is a junior planner with the firm.

Moog Inc., East Aurora, was awarded a $165,540 federal contract for cylinder assemblies from the U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command, Philadelphia.
