Lockport Memorial Day parade shortened

LOCKPORT - Sunday’s Memorial Day parade in Lockport will end at City Hall rather than at the Niagara County Courthouse because of street reconstruction on West Main Street, spokeswoman Peggy Allen said Tuesday.

The parade will step off at 1 p.m. Sunday from Veterans Park on East Avenue. Edward M. Kolek, a 92-year-old World War II bomber pilot, will be the honorary grand marshal.
