LOCKPORT – The Town of Lockport, which last took an opinion survey of its residents about a decade ago, is doing so again.
The 19-question survey has been posted at www.surveymonkey.com/s/lockporttown, and a link to that will soon be added to the town website, Councilman Mark C. Crocker said Monday. Also, the survey will be included on a tear-out postcard to be inserted into the town’s summer newsletter, to be mailed next month.
Crocker said responses will be accepted until Sept. 1 and then compiled. The survey asks residents’ opinions on the town’s services and priorities, and also asks them to respond with a grade of 1 to 10 to a question as to whether the town is on the right track. Crocker said the website permits only one vote to be cast per computer.
The postcard version also will include a smartphone code that can be scanned, for those who prefer to take the survey that way.
