The Springville Village Board applied for three state grants Monday night.
Village officials hope to receive up to $250,000 from the New York Main Street Program administered by the Office of Community Renewal.
The grant would allow business owners to revitalize their properties.
A grant from the Department of Transportation would let the village improve transportation for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers on Main Street through the Transportation Alternatives Program. That grant does not yet have a specific dollar amount.
Another grant would expand the Village Park by helping the village acquire an unspecified amount of property for the Springville Parkland Improvements Project. The grant from the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation would not exceed $500,000.
