Let’s move UB Law School to old courthouse building
It’s time to relocate the University at Buffalo Law School downtown where it belongs. The former federal courthouse building is ideally suited for legal education with some modifications. If space permits, the building could house the Public Defender’s Office for Erie County, with all the necessary ancillary services for a holistic approach to public legal services (social services).
Consider how programs for the Erie Community College criminal justice major could utilize some of the space. Think proactively about the many needs of poor people for legal services that could and would benefit from this beautiful building.
We, the community, already have the building.
