Erie County sheriff’s deputies log three arrests for DWI

Three people were arrested for driving while intoxicated Friday and Saturday.

Josh Grega, 63, of Elma, was arrested in Elma at about 11:15 p.m. Friday. Deputy John Szczepanski also charged Grega with traffic infractions after he was involved in a property damage accident.

Cooper Wittig, 21, of Clarence, was arrested at 4 a.m. Saturday in Clarence. Deputy Timothy Coulombe also charged Wittig with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Shelly Cooper, 51, of Clarence, was arrested at 1:41 p.m. Saturday. Deputy James Flowers arrested Cooper after investigating reckless driving on Harris Hill Road, Clarence. Cooper, who had a prior DWI conviction in Oct. 2008, was charged with felony DWI and felony aggravated unlicensed operation.
