Seventh Street residents arrested on drug and false-name charges

Buffalo police said Seventh Street residents carrying heroin, cocaine and hypodermic needles were arrested about 7:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Seventh.

Marta Lebron, 46, and Anthony Garcia, 35, were each charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, promoting prison contraband and criminal possession of hypodermic instruments. Lebron was found to have 16 hypodermic needles and a cotton ball containing heroin residue in her handbag, police said.

During booking. both suspects were found to be carrying plastic storage bags containing heroin and cocaine. They also were charged with false personation and criminal impersonation for providing false identities, police said.
