Main Street Marketplace debuts this afternoon in the Town of West Seneca, with a ribbon-cutting event scheduled for 3:45 p.m.

The market will be open 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays on the grassy hill at the corner of Union Road and Main Street, adjacent to Town Hall. It will feature approximately 30 farmers and food producers, plus local entertainment, on a weekly basis through Sept. 4.

In case of extremely wet conditions, the market will move into the parking lot in front of the town ice rink.
