NIAGARA FALLS – A woman struck a light pole, a tree, a road sign and finally an NFTA bus shelter at 2:10 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Main Street. Police said the driver did not appear to have any injuries, but did appear intoxicated.

Felicia L. Gulley, 43, of Eagle Heights was charged with driving while intoxicated. She told police she had been drinking and police said she had a hard time balancing and following directions. She said she couldn’t do the tests because she had been drinking, according to reports.

She told officers an unknown vehicle was heading toward her and she swerved to avoid hitting it and then lost control.
