Vincent G. LoTempio, partner in the Law Firm of Kloss, Stenger & LoTempio, received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich.


The Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation elected Richard J. Leugemors chairman of its board of directors. Other officers: vice chairman, Peter M. Augustine; secretary, Alison Derrick; treasurer, Frank Ciminelli II; and president, Elsie Dawe. Board members: Nathan Gordon, Sharon LaMartina, Robert Moore, Jon Notarius and Ken Slomovitz.


David Marcoux of Foit-Albert Associates, Architecture, Engineering and Surveying, has completed the necessary steps to become a registered architect. He is a graduate of the University at Buffalo, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture.

Amherst-based Stampede University, an integrated series of online courses, was awarded System Contractor News’ Stellar Service Award in the “Best Online Training” category. Stampede’s Web-based training series includes webinars, how-to videos, white papers and other media involving AV technology.


SCMC LLC, a construction management firm and subsidiary of Seneca Holdings, was awarded a multimillion-dollar contract to build the first phase of the National Wild Turkey Federation’s new shooting complex and outdoor education center adjacent to the organization’s headquarters in Edgefield, S.C. The center will be built on 700 acres in multiple phases, beginning with a world-class shooting complex; the Roundhouse, a 6,000-square-foot outdoor education center and pro shop; an 8,400-square-foot pavilion with wildlife observation decks and areas for outdoor conservation training.
