Cellphone traffic stop yields trove of charges

PENDLETON – A Clarence man pulled over on South Transit Road about 12:42 p.m. Friday for talking on his cellphone while driving also had two open containers of beer in the center console, Niagara County sheriff’s deputies said.

Mark E. Jagodzinski, 45, of Xavier Road, who posted a blood-alcohol level of 0.15 percent, was also charged with driving while intoxicated, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway, speeding, and having no front license plate.
