LOCKPORT – Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas granted a sentence of three years’ probation Friday to a burglar who didn’t quite complete the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment.

Farkas told Jordan A. Waldeck, 21, of Liberty Avenue, Town of Niagara, that she received a report that he was “marginally compliant” with diversion rules, but his two years in the program had expired and she had to sentence him despite a long list of part violations. She warned Waldeck that any violation will result in a one-year jail sentence. Waldeck’s time in diversion counts toward his probation term.

Waldeck was allowed to plead guilty to a reduced charge of second-degree criminal trespass Friday for a Sept. 22, 2011, break-in at the Sabre Park trailer park in the Town of Niagara. Sabre Park no longer exists, having been bulldozed to make way for an expansion of the Fashion Outlets mall.
