Niagara Fiber buys Allied Blending

Niagara Fiber LLC, whose holdings include a North Tonawanda company, has acquired Allied Blending and Ingredients, based in Iowa.

Allied formulates, makes and custom blends various fiber-based proprietary products and mixes for the dairy and tortilla markets.

Niagara Fiber is a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Markets, a New York City-based private equity firm. In August 2013, Niagara Fiber acquired North Tonawanda-based International Fiber Corp., which makes insoluble fiber products.
