LOCKPORT – A Lockport woman arrested in a July 2011 drug raid was proclaimed a success in the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment Thursday.

Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III reduced Katrina Burton’s guilty plea from a felony to a misdemeanor and granted her a conditional discharge.

Burton, 24, had crack cocaine, a scale, a razor blade and $2,385 in cash when police arrested her in an apartment on Waterman Street in Lockport. She pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for intending to sell the drug.
