Pennsylvania firearm fugitive arrested in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN – A 30-year-old area resident who is reportedly a fugitive from Pennsylvania on a firearms charge was tracked down and taken into custody Wednesday morning by Jamestown Police. Tyler A. Perez was found in an East Second Street apartment about 10;15 a.m. After an initial arraignment on an Allegheny County, Pennsylvania felony warrant lined to a firearm incident in April 2013 Perez was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in Mayville pending extradition proceedings for his potential return to Pennsylvania to face the firearms charge.
