NIAGARA FALLS – Niagara Falls police are investigating a daylight break-in at a house on Forest Avenue where about $3,500 worth of televisions, a laptop computer and jewelry were taken sometime Thursday.

The couple reporting the break-in were both at work when the burglars broke in, sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. The intruders got into the attached garage by prying open an unlocked window and then entered the house through an unlocked door. The woman told police she would attempt to prepare an itemized list of the jewelry that was taken, some of it 25 years old.
