NIAGARA FALLS – Niagara Falls police are investigating the theft of a $15,000 Black Diamond full-length mink coat and other coats from a Jerauld Avenue house.

The current owner of the property, who is renovating it, called police about 8:30 p.m. Thursday and reported the thefts from boxes of clothing brought to the home by its new owner sometime late on Wednesday. Burglars broke open a rear window and ransacked the house, stealing the mink coat, a $350 full-length leather coat, a $500 full-length rabbit coat and a $250 London Fog coat, police said.
