Judge pulls Lockport man’s license after felony DWI arraignment

LOCKPORT – A Town of Lockport man charged with felony driving while intoxicated lost his conditional driver’s license Thursday, as Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas ordered him to surrender it.

Timothy M. Brien, 45, of Green Valley Lane, pleaded not guilty to DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and running a stop sign. He was arrested Nov. 25 in Royalton, where officers measured his blood alcohol content at 0.16 percent, twice the legal threshold for intoxication.

Farkas released Brien without bail, but warned him that if he is caught driving for any reason, she will jail him without bail until the case is resolved.
