SEEK AND FIND – Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 4369 S. Buffalo St., stages its third annual Easter Egg Hunt from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Treat bags will be given to the children, and refreshments will be served. A short children’s video featuring the Easter story also will be shown. For info, call 662-9348.

The Wilson Lions Club will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday in the Wilson Historical Society museum, 645 Lake St. Registration begins at 11 a.m., with the hunt starting at noon. There also will be crafts, face-painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny. For info, call Bob Hull at 751-6100.


SHELL GAMES – Speaking of eggs, Tifft Nature Preserve, 1200 Fuhrmann Blvd., will be holding “Spring Egg-Stravaganza: A Celebration of Animals That Hatch From Eggs” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.

There will be crafts, stories, nature walks, egg dyeing with natural dyes for those who bring up to six of their own hard-boiled eggs; live animals that hatch from eggs, including amphibians and reptiles; and outdoor games, weather permitting. Snacks and treats will be available for purchase.

Sessions will begin at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. Fee is $7, with a 10 percent discount for Buffalo Science Museum members. Pre-registration is required. Call 825-6397 or visit


CELEBRATING HOPE – The Jes Breathe Cancer Awareness Committee holds a dinner and dance, “Dancing 4 Hope,” from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in Classics V Banquet Center, 2425 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst.

Dinner will be served at 6, followed by guest speakers and recognition of cancer survivors, including founder Gina Davis, who will be celebrating five years cancer-free. There also will be a dance contest. Donation is $25. For info, call 533-1985.


GREEN THUMBS – The Auxiliary of Lockport Presbyterian Home is accepting orders for its annual Spring Flower Sale. The selection includes small pots of geraniums, wave petunias and New Guinea impatiens; six-packs of begonias, dusty millers, dwarf marigolds, petunias and alyssum; and a variety of 10-inch hanging plants.
