Niagara University offers a Police Academy information session

LEWISTON – The Niagara County Law Enforcement Academy, which offers pre-employment training and training for sworn recruits in Niagara, Erie, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming and Livingston counties, will hold an information session for interested students at 5:30 p.m. April 24 in Dunleavy Hall on the Niagara University campus.

Applications are available the academy’s next full-time session, July 21 to Dec. 19 and the part-time academy which is held from Sept. 2 to May 6.

The academy is administered through the Niagara University Office of Continuing Education and has been approved by the Division of Criminal Justice Services to train pre-employment recruits. It is designed for current civilians throughout New York State who are interested in the law enforcement field.
