The Erie County Department of Environment & Planning, with funding from General Motors’ Town of Tonawanda engine plant, will collect electronics and fluorescent light bulbs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the GM plant, 2995 River Road.

In order to bring fluorescent tube light bulbs to the collection day, reservations are required by calling 858-4715. Residents are asked to bring no more than 20 bulbs. Compact fluorescent (spiral) bulbs will not be collected at this event, as they are accepted at local hardware stores such as Home Depot and Lowe’s at no cost.

Reservations are not necessary for electronic items such as computers, printers, MP3 players, cables, wires, power cords, etc. For a complete list of acceptable items, go to: www.sunnking.com/consumer-business/acceptable-materials
