CUDDLY COMPANIONS – Ten Lives Club cat rescue and adoption group holds a pre-Easter fundraiser today, Saturday and Sunday in Pet Supplies Plus, 4405 Milestrip Road, Blasdell.

There will be raffles of Easter baskets and theme baskets and special needs cats available for adoption at reduced rates, with a month’s supply of food and litter thrown in for free. A bag of dog treats will be given to anyone buying $3 or more of cat food items to help Ten Lives Club.

In addition, low-cost vaccines, rabies shots and microchipping will be available for cats and dogs from a mobile veterinary clinic at the store from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday. For info, call 646-5577 or visit


PALM SUNDAY SPECIALS – Rapids Fire Company hosts an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs and homemade sausage from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in the Main Hall, 7195 Plank Road, Lockport. Tickets are $7 adults, $4 kids under 12.

The Erie County American Legion Past Commanders Club holds its annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday in Francis J.
