Town of Lockport man pleads guilty to morphine possession

LOCKPORT – A Town of Lockport man pleaded guilty in Niagara County Court Tuesday to a charge of possessing morphine pills May 14 in the town.

County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas scheduled sentencing for June 24 for Alexander Dracup, 20, of Dysinger Road, who admitted to seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Dracup originally was charged with selling the pills to a police informant, but those charges were dismissed as part of the plea deal.
