SAFETY FIRST – Take dollars off your car insurance bill and points off your driver’s license with the Defensive Driving class from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Room B-126 of East Aurora High School, 1003 Center St.

Taught by East Aurora Police Chief Ron Krowka, the course focuses on behavior modification, is sponsored by the New York Safety Program and is approved by the state Department of Motor Vehicles.

Register online at education. Registration is $20, with a $16 laboratory fee payable in class. Nonresident students are welcome. Those attending should bring a sack lunch.


THE WAY WE WERE – Vintage wedding gowns, dating from 1840 to 1950, will be on display in “A Bridal Party,” an exhibit from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site, 641 Delaware Ave.

There also will be displays of vintage bridal portraits, antique dolls and cake decorations. Admission is $10. For info, call 884-0095.
