Armed robber strikes at Jamestown 7-Eleven

JAMESTOWN – A convenience store was robbed early this morning by a man brandishing a handgun, city police reported.

It happened shortly before 2 a.m. at the 7-Eleven store at 1011 E. Second St., police said. The robber entered the store, carrying a black handgun, and demanded cash from two employees.

The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and was seen running toward Buffalo Street.
