Canisius (18-7, 6-0 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) ran its baseball winning streak to eight games by completing a sweep of Manhattan, 10-6, on Monday at the Demske Sports Complex.
Conor Panas led the Griffs going 2-for-3 with a home run for three RBIs. Anthony Massicci and Jimmy Luppens also went 2 for 3, while Mike Krische had two hits, stole two bases and scored three runs.
Junior Devon Stewart pitched 6.2 innings for the win. Junior Brandon Bielecki pitched an inning of relief and junior Eric Stolzenburg closed it ouit with 1.1 innings of relief.
It was the 11th game Canisius scored 10 runs or more and the 18th with 10 or more hits.
