NEWFANE – Dozens of hams, steaks and other meat items, as well as gift cards, are to be raffled off Friday night to benefit Niagara Hospice.

The scene will be the Brookside, the new banquet facility in the former Rib House Restaurant at 2990 Lockport-Olcott Road. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the raffles are expected to last from 7 to 10 p.m.

Jodi Johnston, former local television personality who is now director of corporate media relations for First Niagara Bank, will be the mistress of ceremonies.

There is no entry fee, but each raffle ticket costs $1 or $2. There also will be 50-50 tickets.
