Where is group’s concern for victims of sex abuse?

I have worked with disabled children and adults for more than 30 years. I think that the experts will agree that sex offenders are never “cured.” This disease is not the common cold. It would be fair to say that given the chance, these offenders would commit these crimes again. By placing these convicted offenders so close to a children’s play area and in a residential setting certainly gives them an outstanding opportunity to strike again.

More importantly, where is SANYS’ concern for the victims of these crimes – the children whose lives will never be the same again? What about these innocent victims? They will never fully recover, even with therapy.
