Young Audiences WNY will hold its annual “Goes to Town” fundraiser to benefit arts education at 6:30 p.m. on April 16 at the Town Ballroom, 681 Main St.
The event will feature a cocktail party, awards presentation, silent auction, interactive arts experiences and music and dance performances.
The honorees for outstanding achievement in the field of arts and education are Gerald Mead, independent curator and collector; Jerry McGuire and Fay Northrop, philanthropists and retired educators; Casimiro D. Rodriguez Sr., chairman and founder of Hispanic Heritage Council of Western New York; Edmund Cardoni, executive director of Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center; and Cheryl Jackson, art educator and video artist.
