May should bring needed change to the School Board

Can’t wait until May. Not just because of the weather but because of the Buffalo School Board elections.

Elections that we hope will bring about a new majority on the board so that the superintendent and her assistant can be replaced with competent people.

With 12 candidates (so far) coming from all areas of the city, it should make for a huge turnout. We hope. And a real search for a superintendent can begin.

Buffalo is improving in its financial stability. It’s not bricks and mortar that make a city but its school system, which needs a drastic overhaul.

May cannot come too soon. Let the right turnout be a turnoff for the present regime.
