Order of Hibernians sets St. Patrick’s Day party

NIAGARA FALLS – A St. Patrick’s Day party, hosted by the Ancient Order of Hibernians, will be held Monday in Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls.

The organization’s 32nd annual celebration will begin at 5 p.m.

The “World’s Shortest Parade” will be held at 4:45, just before the party, starting at Old Falls and First streets and going to the entrance of the conference center, 101 Old Falls St.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities. Attendees are asked to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to Heart, Love and Soul food pantry.

Tickets are $7 in advance or $8 at the door. Children younger than 12 get free admission.

Advance sale tickets are available at B&B Cigars on Main Street and McCloud’s Pharmacy on Buffalo Avenue, in Niagara Falls; Always a Party on Military Road in the Town of Niagara; Cheri Amour on Center Street in Lewiston; and McNerney’s Irish Imports inside the Eastern Hills Mall.
