SALAMANCA – A Buffalo man was picked up on Atlantic Street in Salamanca late Friday night and charged with selling crack cocaine twice in that city.

Demario A. Watkins, 32, of Hoffman Place, was charged with third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance, pertaining to the sales, and with seventh-degree possession after a small amount of alleged crack was found in his back pocket when he was arrested at 11:54 p.m. Friday.

The arrest was made by officers of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Watkins was jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail after arraignment in Salamanca City Court.
